Harry Melling's solo show Peddling is set to get its London debut at the Arcola Theatre in March.

Peddling, which marks Melling's writing debut, premiered at the HighTide Festival in April and has since had an Off-Broadway run.

Melling is best known for his on screen role as Dudley Dursley in the Harry Potter franchise. His recent stage credits include The Angry Brigade, which recently opened at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth, as well as King Lear (Chichester) and The Hothouse (Trafalgar Transformed).

Peddling tells the story of a pedlar boy on a journey of discovery "via the doorsteps of privileged London and the cracks that swallow thousands of young Londoners every year."

Director Steven Atkinson said: "The Arcola has a sterling track record for supporting innovative work and new artists, which makes it perfect for Harry's debut play."

Peddling runs at from 4 March until 28 March 2015. There will be a gala performance on 19 March 2015, proceeds of which will go towards Kids Company's Playwriting and Performance course.
