The Greenwich and Docklands International Festival is bigger than ever this year, with 4 commissions, 12 UK
premieres and 9 London premieres over 11 days, running from 24 June to 4 July.

This year’s theme, the second in the four-year Out With the Elements series, is Earth. The dozens of outdoor performances taking place in locations from Maritime Greenwich to Woolwich are intended to encourage audiences to consider their physical surroundings in a new light, and issues including climate change and feelings of home will be explored.

Stand-out events from the extensive programme include Catalan choreographer, Toni Mira‘s multi-media spectacular, Gravity, at 17th-century Queen’s House, Greenwich; ‘Oxymer’, the UK premiere of French company, Ilotopie’s lastest show; and BoleroRemixed, a dance event featuring symphony orchestra and 100 dancers atop a multi-story carpark in Stratford.
