Further casting announced for Grease sequel Cool Rider in concert

Ashleigh Gray and Aaron Sidwell are among those joining Reece Shearsmith in the principal cast

Further casting has been announced for the forthcoming West End concert performance of Grease sequel Cool Rider, which plays for two performances at the Lyric Theatre on 27 January.

Joining the previously announced Reece Shearsmith as biology teacher Mr Stuart are Ashleigh Gray (Wicked) as Stephanie, Aaron Sidwell (Loserville) as Michael, Hannah Levane (Rent in Concert) as Paulette and Niall Sheehy (ITV's Superstar) as Johnny.

Cool Rider, which is based on the film Grease 2, is directed by Guy Unsworth and choreographed by Matt Krzan.

The 1982 film takes place two years after the original film at Rydell High School, and features a new cast of characters.

Songs include "Who's That Guy?", "Score Tonight", "Cool Rider" – which will be sung in the concert "precariously atop a step ladder" – "Girl for all Seasons" and "Rock-a-Hula Luau (Summer Is Coming)".
