Full West End cast for The Spy Who Came in From the Cold revealed

Full casting has been revealed for the West End transfer of The Spy Who Came in From the Cold. 

Directed by Jeremy Herrin, the show opens in the West End in November following an initial run at Chichester Festival Theatre last year. You can see a full breakdown of dates and details here.

Set during the Cold War, the story follows Alec Leamas, who is drawn back into espionage for one final mission. As he navigates a world of deception, his connection with the idealistic Liz Gold begins to challenge the detachment that has defined his career.

Set to star will be Rory Keenan as Alec Leamas and Agnes O’Casey as Liz Gold. They are joined by Gunnar Cauthery as Hans-Dieter Mundt and John Ramm as George Smiley.

The cast also includes Philip Arditti as Fielder, Norma Atallah as Miss Crail and the President of the Tribunal, Matt Betteridge as Riemeck and Kiever, Ian Drysdale as Control, Tom Kanji as Ashe and David Rubin as Pitt and Ford.

The production is designed by Max Jones, with lighting by Azusa Ono, composition by Paul Englishby, sound by Elizabeth Purnell, movement direction by Lucy Cullingford, fight direction by Bret Yount and voice work by Hazel Holder. Casting is by Jessica Ronane.
