Full casting announced for Henry V at Open Air Theatre

The production will open at Regent’s Park in June

Ahead of the Shakespeare 400 weekend, Regent's Park Open Air Theatre have announced full casting for Henry V, which opens at the theatre in June.

Joining the previously announced Michelle Terry as Henry V will be David Sibley (War and Peace, BBC, Uncle Vanya, Young Vic) as the Archbishop of Canterbury, the King of France and Sir Thomas Erpingham, Philip Arditti (As You Like It, National) as Ancient Pistol, Phil Cheadle (Henry IV Part I and Henry IV Part II, Globe) as Bardolph, Charlotte Cornwell (Hamlet, RSC) as Chorus, Ben Wiggins as Princess Katherine (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Middle Temple Hall) and Joy Richardson (Shakespeare in Love, Noel Coward Theatre) as Katherine’s maid, Alice.

The cast will be completed by Catrin Aaron (Captain Fluellen), Bobby Delaney (Orleans/Cambridge), Alex Bhat (The Dauphin), Raphael Bushay (Duke of Warwick), Ryan Ellsworth (Duke of Exeter), Polly Frame (Captain Jamy), Beruce Khan (Duke of Burgundy), Syrus Lowe (Duke of Bedford), Jack McMullen (Michael Williams), Dyfrig Morris (Duke of Westmoreland), Jess Regan (Captain McMorris), Cat Simmons (Captain Gower) and Dwane Walcott (Constable of France).

Recently appointed Sheffield Theatre artistic director Robert Hastie directs the production which features design by Oliver Award-winner Anna Fleischle, movement direction byJohn Ross, music composition by Yaron Engler, lighting design by Joshua Carr and sound design by Avgoustos Psillas for Autograph.

Henry V will run at the Open Air Theatre from 22 June to 9 July.
