Full cast announced for Julius Caesar at Bridge Theatre

Full casting has been announced for Nicholas Hytner’s production of Julius Caesar, which opens at the Bridge Theatre in January.

The promenade production features the previously announced David Calder (Caesar), Michelle Fairley (Cassius), David Morrissey (Mark Antony) and Ben Whishaw (Brutus).

They are joined by Adjoa Andoh (Casca), Rosie Ede (Marullus/ Artemidorus), Leila Farzad (Decius Brutus), Fred Fergus (Lucius/Cinna the Poet), Wendy Kweh (Calpurnia), Mark Penfold (Caius Ligarius), Abraham Popoola (Trebonius), Sid Sagar (Flavius/Popilius Lena), Nick Sampson (Cinna), Hannah Stokely (Metellus Cimber) and Kit Young (Octavius) as well as ensemble members Zachary Hart and Leaphia Darko.

With designs by Bunny Christie, the promenade production will place the audience at the heart of Shakespeare's play.

Julius Caesar runs at the Bridge Theatre from 30 January to 15 April 2018, with previews from 20 January.
