The production, based on the star’s turbulent life, will premiere at the London Theatre Workshop
Producers have released an image offering a first look at the actresses playing Judy Garland in Through the Mill, a new play opening at the London Theatre Workshop next month.
Helen Sheals (CBS Judy), Belinda Wollaston (Palace Judy) and Lucy Penrose (Young Judy) each play Garland in three different stages of her life.
Through the Mill chronicles the turbulent life of the legendary singer, her rise from teenager to MGM movie star, from "has-been" to concert hall darling and her short-lived career as a TV personality.
The show, which will feature a hit list of Garland's greatest moments, is written by Ray Rackham and will include an on-stage band made up of the cast of 12 actor/musicians.
Directed by Max Reynolds, the production has choreography by Chris Whittaker, set design by Johnson Williams Design and musical supervision by Simon Holt.
Through the Mill runs at the London Theatre Workshop from 3 December to 19 December.
