First look at Disney's Frozen the Musical

Images have been released offering a first look at Disney's new show, the highly anticipated Frozen the Musical, which opens on Broadway in February 2018.

Directed by Michael Grandage, the musical stars Caissie Levy (Ghost) as Elsa and Patti Murrin (Wicked) as Anna.

It is currently playing a tryout at the Buell Theatre in Denver until 1 October before making its way to the Great White Way.

The musical, based on the Oscar-winning Disney film, has music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and a book by Jennifer Lee. It also has design by Christopher Oram whose previous work includes the Kenneth Branagh season at the Garrick Theatre and the RSC's Wolf Hall, for which he won the 2015 Olivier and Tony Awards.

Frozen the Musical begins previews at the St James Theatre, New York on 22 February 2018.
