Rory Kinnear stars in the titular role of the first play in the new London theatre
Images have been released of the first production in Nicholas Hytner and Nick Starr's new Bridge Theatre.
Rory Kinnear is starring as Marx in the new play Young Marx, written by Richard Bean and Clive Coleman. Hytner is directing the show, which also stars Oliver Chris as Friedrich Engels, Nancy Carroll as Jenny von Westphalen and Laura Elphinstone as Helene 'Nym' Demuth.
Young Marx is set in 1850 in Soho, London, where Marx is broke and living with his family and hangs out with his friend and confidente Engels. The show opens in previews tomorrow and runs until 31 December.
Young Marx runs at the Bridge Theatre from 26 October to 31 December, with previews from 18 October.
