Hampstead Theatre have today announced their next main stage production and the full line up for Festival at Hampstead Theatre.

Running on the main stage from 24 March to 16 April will be the UK premiere of Neil LaBute's Reasons to be Happy. Directed by Michael Attenborough, the play explores 'unfinished business' and follows two couples in their pursuit of a happy life.

The theatre's second annual festival will also run from March. Highlights from the 30 strong line-up include workshops and discussions with figures including David Hare, Matthew Bourne, Howard Brenton, Darcey Bussell, Tim Pigott-Smith, Meera Syal and Kate Mosse.

Hampstead Theatre artistic director Edward Hall said: "Hampstead Theatre is thrilled to be bringing back the festival after its incredible success in 2015. We hope this year’s programme will give attendees an opportunity to meet some of the most original thinkers in British culture today and discover new insights into the wonderful worlds these people work in."

The festival will run at Hampstead Theatre from 18 to 20 March. For a full line up, click here.
