Casting announced for The Burnt Part Boys at Park Theatre

Casting has been announced for the European premiere of The Burnt Part Boys which opens at the Park Theatre in August.

The show will star David Haydn (Americana, Theatre Royal Stratford East) as Dad, Ryan Heenan (Mort the Musical, Rose Theatre Kingston) as Dusty, Chris Jenkins (The War Of The Worlds, Dominion) as Jake, David Leopold (Uncle Vanya, West Yorkshire Playhouse) as Chet, Grace Osborn (Whistle Down the Wind, Union Theatre) as Frances and Joseph Peacock (Grease, The Factory Playhouse) as Pete.

The cast will be completed by Danny Black-George, Tomas Wolstenholme, Jonathan Bourne and Jamie Fillery.

Directed by Matthew Iliffe, the chamber musical follows brothers Pete and Jake as they embark on a journey to the coalmine that took their father's life.

The show features music by Chris Miller and lyrics by Nathan Tysen, with a book by Mariana Elder. The Burnt Part Boys comes to London following a run off-Broadway in 2010 and marks the first musical to be staged in PARK90.

The Burnt Part Boys runs at the Park Theatre form 11 August to 3 September.
