Casting has been announced for Forever Plaid, which opens at the St James Studio next month.
Jon Lee, best known for being an original member of pop group S Club 7, will star alongside Keith Jack (Any Dream Will Do, HMS Pinafore), Matthew Quinn (Dreamboats and Petticoats, Carnaby Street') and Luke Striffler (Hairspray, Avenue Q'').
Lee's previous theatre credits include Jersey Boys and Les Miserables in the West End. He also appeared in the original production of Oliver! at the London Palladium.
Forever Plaid is a revue of 1950s close-harmony groups including The Four Freshmen, The Hi-Lo's and The Crew Cuts.
The production is directed by Grant Murphy with musical direction by Anthony James Gabriele, lighting design by Ben Rogers and set design by Nik Corrall. It is produced by Katy Lipson for Aria Entertainment and Guy James.
Forever Plaid runs at the St James Studio, London from 5 – 24 April.
