Casting announced for Clickbait at Theatre503

Casting has been announced for the premiere of new play Clickbait, which opens at Theatre503 next month.

Georgia Groome (Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging) leads the cast as Nicola, a young woman who has been blackmailed with the threat of a leaked sex tape. She will be joined by Amy Dunn (The Roof, Chatroom) as Gina and Alice Hewkin (The Vote) as Chloe.

The cast will be completed by Barney White (The Musketeers) and Emma D’Arcy (Romeo and Juliet).

Billed as a dark comedy, the play explores society’s attitude to porn and the line between sexual empowerment and sexual exploitation.

The play is written by Milly Thomas and directed by Holly Race Roughan.

Clickbait opens at Theatre503 on 22 January.
