Cast announced for Gate's Image of an Unknown Young Woman

Gate Theatre artistic director Christopher Haydon has announced the cast for his upcoming premiere production of Elinor Cook's Image of an Unknown Young Woman.

Running from 8 June 2015 (previews from 4 June) until 27 June, the production centres on the fall-out when a video of a woman being shot by police in a country on the brink of revolution goes viral.

The cast will feature Oliver Birch (Chorus), Susan Brown (Candace), Wendy Kweh (Nia), Emilie Patry (Chorus), Isaac Ssenbandeke (Chorus), Anjana Vasan (Leyla), Eileen Walsh (Yasmin) and Ashley Zhangazha (Ali).

Cook's previous plays include Microwave, The Boy Preference and This is Where We Got to When You Came In.
