The National Theatre’s production opens this week
Ahead of opening night this week, the National Theatre has released production images of Ivo van Hove's production of Network, starring Bryan Cranston.
Cranston plays Howard Beale, a news anchor who decides his next broadcast will be his last. The cast also includes Michelle Dockery as Diana Christensen and Douglas Henshall as Max Schumacher. Lee Hall has adapted Paddy Chayefsky's classic '70s movie, which coined the phrase "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore".
The show features onstage dining, where audience members sit at tables and eat a three course meal during the performance. Network marks Cranston's London stage debut.
Network runs at the National Theatre until 24 March.
