The popular musical opens in Peterborough later this month
Britain's Got Talent finalist Lucy Kay will join the previously announced Joe McElderry in the UK tour of Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat.
Kay, who has also had a number one Classical album, will take the role of the Narrator.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is the UK's longest running musical. Retelling the biblical story about Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colours, the show includes songs such as "Jacob and Sons", "Close Every Door" and "Any Dream Will Do".
Further casting is yet to be announced.
The production is set to open at The Broadway in Peterborough on 26 January, after which it tours to Crawley, Blackpool, Weston-Super-Mare, St Helens, Bromley, Oxford, Kings Lynn, Leeds, Manchester, Rhyl, Grimsby, Billingham, York, Northampton, Glasgow, Wolverhampton, Brighton, Sunderland, Buxton, Weymouth, Milton Keynes and Southampton.
