He will play the lead role until September this year
Ben Forster has extended his run as The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre.
Forster took on the role in February 2016, and will play the character until 2 September 2017. He won the
ITV series Superstar in 2012, which saw Andrew Lloyd Webber look for the lead cast member for the
UK tour of Jesus Christ Superstar.
In October, the musical celebrated 30 years in the West End with a special gala performance.
The musical also stars Celinde Schoenmaker as Christine Daae and Nadim Naaman as Raoul.
The Phantom of the Opera is booking at Her Majesty's Theatre until 2 September 2017.
