Beetlejuice gives West End casting update

Four-time Olivier Award nominee Summer Strallen will join the West End cast of Beetlejuice The Musical.

Strallen will take over the role of Delia Deetz from Aimie Atkinson from 3 August to 2 November 2026 at the Prince Edward Theatre.

Atkinson will briefly leave the production to make her Broadway debut, reprising her Olivier Award-nominated performance as Katherine Howard in Six, before returning to Beetlejuice on 3 November. The musical is booking through to 17 April 2027.

The cast is led by David Fynn as Beetlejuice, with Tom Xander as the alternate Beetlejuice and Hannah Nordberg as Lydia Deetz. David Hunter and Chelsea Halfpenny play Adam and Barbara Maitland, while Alasdair Harvey appears as Charles Deetz.

Also in the company are Chasity Crisp as Maxine Dean / Juno, Richard Frame as Otho, Irvine Iqbal as Maxie Dean, Rachel Macdougall as Girl Scout and Vanessa Aurora Sierra as Miss Argentina. They are joined by Jemma Alexander, Samuel Bangs, Natasha Cayabyab, Chris Draper, Harley Emmitt, Catherine McCormick, Robbie McMillan, Kieran Mellish, Elliott Parry, Jacob Smith, Adam Taylor, Tyler Timmins and Issie Wilman.

Based on Tim Burton’s 1988 film, Beetlejuice the Musical has a book by Scott Brown and Anthony King, music and lyrics by Eddie Perfect, and is directed by Alex Timbers.
