The ”Birdman” actress has been absent from the London stage for seven years
Andrea Riseborough will star in As You Like It at the National Theatre later this year, according to the Daily Mail.
Riseborough, who recently appeared in Oscar-winning film Birdman, will play Rosalind in Polly Findlay's production, which opens in the Olivier in November as part of Rufus Norris's inaugural season.
It marks a return to the London stage for Riseborough for the first time since 2008, when she starred alongside Kenneth Branagh and Tom Hiddleston in Ivanov as part of Michael Grandage's Donmar West End season.
She was last at the National in 2006, starring alongside Matt Smith and Andrew Garfield in the trilogy Burn, Chatroom and Citizenship.
Her film credits include Made in Dagenham, W.E. and the upcoming The Silent Storm with Damian Lewis.
Norris's inaugural season also features Everyman starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Patrick Marber's new play The Red Lion featuring Daniel Mays and Damon Albarn musical wonder.land.
