We couldn’t be happier to see these familiar faces!

If you didn’t know already, a lot of the Wicked movies were filmed right here on these shores! It’s a fact that director Jon M Chu celebrated during the official London premiere earlier this month, shouting out the talents of UK creatives.
Appearing in the merry old land of Oz are plenty of performers, both based in and having performed in the UK, including some with a direct link to the stage show!
We’ve already covered a fair wad of names revealed over the last couple of years, including the likes of Alice Fearn, Sharon D Clarke and Courtney Mae-Briggs. Plus, the eagerly-awaited reveal of Dorothy!
Also, we sat down with the Wicked movie casting directors Bernie Telsey and Tiffany Little Canfield to discuss how they assembled such a rich and varied ensemble for the blockbuster franchise and how stage stars can become the biggest movie stars of a generation.

But in addition, we wanted to give you a rundown of some of your theatre favourites you might spot in the film.
We’re keen to emphasise that this is a living, and growing, feature, so we apologise if we’ve missed anyone and urge you to drop us a note so we can add you in!
After even more? Check out our dedicated Part One feature and bear in mind, there are many uncredited roles in the movies – so let us know if you spot a familiar face! The more the merrier.
