Colman Domingo is an American actor, writer and director known for his work across film, television and theatre. Born in Philadelphia, he began his career on stage, earning Tony, Olivier and Drama Desk nominations for his performance in The Scottsboro Boys. He later appeared in productions including Passing Strange and A Boy and His Soul, which he also wrote.
On screen, Domingo has built a diverse career with acclaimed roles in Sing Sing, Fear the Walking Dead, Euphoria, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, If Beale Street Could Talk and Rustin, for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. His directing credits include theatre productions across the US and episodes of Fear the Walking Dead.
