Full casting has been announced for the revival of Hugh Whitemore's Pack of Lies, which opens at the Menier Chocolate Factory in October.

Joining the previously announced Finty Williams and Jasper Britton is Sia Dauda (Flashdance), Alasdair Harvey (Sunday in the Park with George), Chris Larkin (Stevie), Macy Nyman (The Stepmother), Tracy-Ann Oberman (Fiddler on the Roof) and Natalie Walter (Jerusalem).

Whitemore's play – which premiered at the Lyric in 1983 starring Judi Dench and Michael Williams (parents of Finty Williams) – is inspired by real-life events and tells of a middle-aged couple whose best friends are their Canadian neighbours. When a detective asks to use their house while he watches a Soviet spy ring, the Jacksons are forced to decide whether to betray their friends or their country.

Whitemore – who died this year in July at the age of 82 – adapted Pack of Lies from Act of Betrayal which was part of the Play for Today television series.

Hannah Chissick (Side Show) directs the play, with design by Paul Farnsworth, lighting by Paul Anderson and sound by Jonathan Everett.
