Maisie Williams and Stephen Karam's The Humans feature in Hampstead Theatre's new season

The north London venue has announced its winter programming

The Hampstead Theatre has announced its new season for the winter of 2018.

Stephen Karam's The Humans, which won four Tony Awards in 2016, will be making its UK premiere from 30 August to 13 October. Directed by Joe Mantello, the production will transfer with the entire New York cast. Reed Birney and Jayne Houdyshell reprise their Tony Award-winning performances alongside the full Broadway cast, which includes Cassie Beck, Lauren Klein, Arian Moayed and Sarah Steele.

Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams will be making her stage debut in the UK premiere of Lauren Gunderson's I and You, directed by the venue's artistic director Edward Hall. The play was a finalist for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize explores adolescent innocence and a girl housebound because of illness. The show runs from 18 October to 24 November.

Richard Molloy's Nick Darke Award-winning Every Day I Make Greatness Happen will come to the Hampstead Downstairs space, directed by Alice Hamilton. The piece follows a group of children and their teacher struggling through sixth form, and runs from 13 September to 20 October.

Ifeyinwa Frederick's debut play The Hoes will have its world premiere at the Downstairs space between 26 October and 1 December. The show follows three best friends who are now reflecting on their lives aged 25.

In 2019, Dusty Hughes' Paradise will have its world premiere Downstairs, and looks at the cost growing old and ageing disgracefully.
