Further casting has been announced for Laurence O'Keefe and Kevin Murphy's Heathers, which opens at The Other Palace in June.

Joining the previously announced Carrie Hope Fletcher (The Addams Family, Les Misérables) will be Jodie Steele (Wicked) as Heather Chander, T'Shan Williams (Caroline, or Change) as Heather Duke, and Sophie Isaacs (Kinky Boots) as Heather McNamara. Jamie Muscato (Big Fish) will play Jason Dean, with Rebecca Lock (Mary Poppins) starring as Mrs Fleming.

Also announced today is Jenna O'Leary as Martha Dunnstock, Dominic Anderson as Ram Sweeney and Chris Chung as Kurt Kelly.

Heathers – which runs for eight weeks from 9 June – is a musical about a teenage misfit who gets taken under the wings of three beautiful people called the Heathers who aid her dreams of popularity in a bloodthirsty way.

It had a work-in-progress performance in the studio at the same venue last year, and now moves into the main space at the venue. It is based on the 1988 cult movie that starred Winona Ryder and Christian Slater.

The new production has direction from Andy Flickman, choreography by Gary Lloyd, design by David Shields, lighting by Ben Cracknell, sound by Dan Samson and casting by Will Burton.
