David Walliams and Edgar Wright join Hayley Atwell at Measure for Measure opening

David Walliams, filmmaker Edgar Wright and more joined the cast and creatives of Measure for Measure at the Donmar Warehouse last night to celebrate opening night.

Hayley Atwell and Jack Lowden star, as Isabella and Angelo respectively, in Josie Rourke's production, which transposes Shakespeare's original to the present day and focuses on power, law and gender.

Ed Miliband also joined the cast, along with Elliott Levey and Paul Hart.

The show is Rourke's penultimate production as artistic director of the venue, before she steps down next year and Michael Longhurst takes over.
