Hayley Atwell and Jack Lowden in Measure for Measure at Donmar Warehouse: first look

Photos have been released offering a first look at Donmar Warehouse's upcoming production of Measure for Measure, directed by the venue's artistic director Josie Rourke.

Starring Hayley Atwell and Jack Lowden, the new revival of Shakespeare's problem play is set in both the early modern period of Shakespeare's day and the present day.

The piece comes in the final year of Rourke's tenure at the venue, before new artistic director Michael Longhurst takes on the role later in 2019.

It has design by Peter McKintosh, lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Emma Laxton and composition by Michael Bruce.
