What made you want to become a performer?
Internal pain

If you hadn't become a comedian, what might you have done professionally?
Become a singer or a rapper

Pretty much everything in the cinema and on television

First big break?
Vic Reeves Big Night Out [in 1990]

What was the first thing you saw on stage that had a big impact on you?
The Caretaker

A load of dodgy robbers hide out in an old lady's house

How did you go about making the role of Major Courtney your own?
By making my own mistakes

"It looked like a starving baby in a sock"
