Casting has been announced for Mischief Theatre's criminal caper The Comedy About A Bank Robbery, which will embark on a new 36-venue UK tour from 23 August.

Alongside its West End run, which is now booking into its third year, the production will open its tour at Birmingham Rep next month. The piece is created by Mischief Theatre Company, which is also responsible for the likes of The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and Mischief Movie Nights.

The touring cast for the show will be Seán Carey as Sam Monaghan, David Coomber as Neil Cooper, Julia Frith as Caprice Freeboys, George Hannigan as Everyone Else, Liam Jeavons as Mitch Ruscitti, Damian Lynch as Robin Freeboys, Killian Macardle as Officer Randal Shuck, Yolanda Ovide as Ruth Monaghan, Jon Trenchard as Warren Slax and Charlotte Duffy, Tom Hopcroft, Ashley Tucker, Ross Virgo and Eddy Westbury.

The Comedy About A Bank Robbery is directed by Kirsty Patrick Ward (with original direction by Mark Bell with Nancy Zamit for Mischief Theatre) and has design by David Farley, costume design by Roberto Surace, lighting design by David Howe, sound design by Jon Fiber for JollyGoodTunes, musical direction and arrangement by Joey Hickman and associate musical direction by Barbara Hockaday.
