Sheena Easton and cast at 42nd Street opening night

The Duchess of Cambridge attended the opening alongside acting royalty

Sheena Easton celebrated her West End debut at Threatre Royal, Drury Lane last night alongside her 42nd Street cast-mates.

Guests at the event included the Duchess of Cambridge Catherine Middleton, actor Morgan Freeman and Sarah Hadland.

The cast includes Clare Halse, Christopher Howell and Tom Lister who said the evening was the "most incredible experience I've ever had on stage".

In her four-star review for WhatsOnStage, Sarah Crompton said it is a show "impossible not to like".
