Initial casting has been announced for the Royal Court Theatre‘s 60th anniversary fundraiser, The Bash, which takes place on 2 November.

Sherlock star Andrew Scott will be joined by a host of big names including Kenneth Cranham (The Father), Lesley Manville (Ghosts), Maxine Peake (Hamlet) and Meera Syal (Romeo and Juliet).

Other performers will include Zawe Ashton, Aimee Ffion-Edwards, Deborah Findlay, Harry Hadden-Paton, Kika Markham, Wunmi Mosaku, Kate O’Flynn, Stephen Rea and Lesley Sharp.

The evening will begin with a champagne reception followed by a pre-show dinner before guests head into the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs for the gala performance.

The theatre’s Front of House spaces will then be transformed for a post-show party with DJs and live music.

An online auction will take place prior to the event, with items including a one-to-one acting class with Maxine Peake, supper with actors Stephen Mangan and Tamsin Greig, and an exclusive Harry Potter and the Cursed Child experience with director John Tiffany.

Tickets start at £100 with six exclusive On Stage seats, and can be booked here.

The Bash takes place at the Royal Court on Wednesday 2 November.
