Casting has been announced for Al Smith's Harrogate, which opens at the Royal Court in October following a sold-out run at HighTide Festival last year.

Nigel Lindsay (Shrek, Guys and Dolls) joins Sarah Ridgeway (Sucker Punch, The Cherry Orchard), who starred in the original production.

Directed by Richard Twyman, Harrogate is about a man who has an unhealthy obsession with his daughter. Smith's theatre writing credits include Radio (Soho Theatre, 2006), The Bird and The Bee (Edinburgh Fringe, 2013), and the award-winning Diary of a Madman at the Traverse and Gate Theatre.

Harrogate runs at the Royal Court Theatre from 20 to 29 October before embarking on a UK tour from 1 to 16 November.
