Harry Potter star Oliver Phelps joins cast of The Case of the Frightened Lady

Deborah Grant also joins the UK tour cast, replacing Rula Lenska

Oliver Phelps and Deborah Grant have joined the cast of The Case of the Frightened Lady, which is currently touring the UK.

Best known for playing George Weasley in the Harry Potter films, Phelps makes his stage debut in the new adaptation of Edgar Wallace's thriller.

Grant – whose many West End credits include starring opposite Michael Crawford in the West End debut of Barnum at the London Palladium – replaces Rula Lenska who has left the production due to scheduling conflicts.

The rest of the cast includes Gray O'Brien (Coronation Street), Denis Lill (Only Fools and Horses), Philip Lowrie (Coronation Street), April Pearson (Skins), Ben Nealon (Soldier Soldier) and Glenn Carter (Jesus Christ Superstar).

The Case of the Frightened Lady is currently playing at Regent Theatre, Stoke and continues its nationwide tour to Edinburgh, Woking, Milton Keynes, Coventry, Southend, Swansea, Leeds, Bury St Edmonds and Glasgow.
