Thomas Stanley Holland, born on June 1, 1996, is an accomplished English actor. His achievements include winning a British Academy Film Award and three Saturn Awards. In 2019, he was featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list. Regarded by some publications as one of the most popular actors of his generation, Holland’s journey into acting began at the age of nine when he joined a dance class.

His talent was noticed by a choreographer who arranged an audition for him in Billy Elliot the Musical at London’s Victoria Palace Theatre. After two years of training, he landed a supporting role in 2008, eventually taking on the lead role until 2010. Holland made his mark in film with his debut in the disaster drama The Impossible (2012), portraying a teenage tourist caught in a tsunami. His performance earned critical acclaim and a nomination for the Goya Award for Best New Actor. This success led him to commit to acting full-time, appearing in subsequent projects like How I Live Now (2013), and taking on roles as historical figures in the film In the Heart of the Sea (2015) and the miniseries Wolf Hall (2015).
