A celebration of this world famous mystical masterpiece as translated and adapted by the Suffolk born Anglo – Irish genius Edward FitzGerald 1809 – 1883 who passes on to us the perennial wisdom of many voices from the Rig Veda, Upanishads, Zoroaster, Omar Khayya’m, the Koran, Homer, Buddhism, the Bible, William Shakespeare and Blake, George Herbert, Attar, Hafiz, Rumi, John Dryden and Keats and so many more “I hear those voices that will not be drowned” George Crabbe

This event takes place at St Ethelburga’s Centre for Reconsilation and Peace, 78 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 4AG
