Choreographed, produced and performed by Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts students. Caillte, meaning lost or fallen in Irish Gaelic follows one woman and her journey through a Mother and Baby Home in 1940’s Ireland, a harrowing experience that tens of thousands of women endured in the 20th century. The piece intertwines live music, spoken word, contemporary and traditional dance to give a voice to those who are not often heard.
This performance takes place at St Luke’s Bombed Out Church, Leece Street, Liverpool L1 2TR
