Annie Get Your Gun

About the Show

Just a stone’s throw from London and nestled between rows of blossoming English lavender, the Lavender Theatre opens its gates this July for its inaugural season with a bold new production of Irving Berlin’s classic Annie Get Your Gun.

Experience the first-ever production at the stunning new Lavender Theatre, and soak up the electric atmosphere of an iconic musical in the most gorgeous of natural settings.
Directed and choreographed by Simon Hardwick, the show follows the life and times of legendary sharpshooter Annie Oakley and her rise to fame at the end of the 19th Century. Featuring a glittering score of beloved songs, Annie Get Your Gun proves There’s No Business Like Show Business in all-singing, all-dancing, gun-toting glory!

With a cast featuring award-winning singer/songwriter SuRie (who represented the UK at Eurovision in 2018) as Annie Oakley, Charlie McCullagh (Bonnie & Clyde, 42 Balloons) as Frank Butler, Chlöe Hart (Six, Evita) as Dolly Tate, and Elliot Broadfoot (recent graduate of Leeds Conservatoire) as Buffalo Bill, the production will be given a raw and kinetic new staging, evoking Buffalo Bill’s original touring celebrations of the Wild West.

Customers are invited to don their cowboy boots and tasselled jackets for a unique theatrical experience in a stunning natural setting, immersively presented with a distinct western flair.

Picnic hampers are also available to pre-order now, so you can find a spot among the rows of lavender from 90 minutes before the performance to enjoy a selection of locally-sourced delicacies and summer favourites with a bottle of wine or fizz.

Tickets are available from £35 (£33 preview performances)*. Premium tickets include a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, an embroidered Lavender Theatre blanket, and a show programme.

Irving Berlin’s Annie Get Your Gun is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd.. Produced by Joe McNeice for Lavender Productions Ltd.
