A creative intersection of musical concert and personal narrative, Welcome to My Room, follows ‘Y’- a Korean expat turned New Yorker, grappling with being a forever-foreigner and navigating the complexities of living in a female body. This play aims to nurture hyphenated identities and invite the audience to explore these questions: Who are you when no one is looking? What is the true meaning of home when you don’t seem to belong anywhere?
