Cam Spence is exploding onto the Edinburgh Fringe scene with her hilarious debut hour of idiosyncratic character comedy. Welcome to The Sunshine Clinic (rehab facility closest to the M4, 2009-2010), where Britain’s most patient patients are free to pay for some extremely untherapeutic group therapy. The Sunshine Clinic is a hilarious, off-kilter show set in the world’s worst rehab clinic, run by Janet Waitrose ? a warm but narcissistic woman from the Yorkshire Dales. The show follows a very untherapeutic one-hour group therapy session. Janet insists that laughter is indeed the best medicine and demands patients entertain each other with dances and skits ? that is, when she is not hogging the limelight with dances and skits of her own.
