Black Gold Blues

A musical with a live band; written, produced, directed and played by local Environmental Activists. It is emotional, cynical, scornful and furious by turns. But it always tries to be truthful. It looks at our situation from different angles. The musical is not quite Mary Poppins because our situation is different. It is best summed up simply by two words Love and Rage; love for the world, nature in all its glory, including humanity and rage at what we are doing to it all for the sake of greed, ignorance and hubris.
