Bridgwater & Taunton College Dance and Performing Arts Showcase – A Final Project: Lord of the Flies/Catch Me If You Can/Contemporary Dance Project

BTC PERFORMING ARTS & DANCE PRESENTS a Final Major Project in not one, not two, but THREE parts that will showcase the extraordinary work that is created as part of the Level 3 BTEC course. The night will highlight some of the high-octane acting, dynamic dancing and powerful vocals of the students currently studying at the college. From the animalistic side of human nature to the adrenaline inducing escapades of one of Americas most successful con men, to the physical exploration of dance through the mind of professional practitioner and artistic director of Untold Dance Theatre, Vicki Hearne. We journey through the Nobel prize-winning novelists story of Lord of The Flies, the hit-musical Catch Me If You Can and an originally choreographed Contemporary Dance performance. The night will be an exhilarating, energetic and eclectic example of the work made by the talented students at the college and will explore a diverse range of skills and techniques that will show the power of performance from a variety of disciplines and styles.
