What to watch: best shows to see this week
We look at the hottest new openings this week – with concerts, new musicals and dramas galore!
5. Jeremy Jordan in Concert
Cadogan Hall, 1 to 2 September
We don't usually put concerts on here, but then again we don't usually have Jeremy Jordan on our shores! The Broadway legend, known for the likes of Newsies and films like The Last Five Years, is coming over to perform some of his classics in west London.

4. Love's Labour's Lost
Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, until 15 September
After the success of Othello and Emilia, Shakespeare's Globe is on fine form as it heads indoors for an intimate staging of the Bard's comedy. Directed by Nick Bagnall, the show is described as "a discourse on art versus life". A late summer treat?

3. Rain Man
Theatre Royal Windsor, then UK tour
The film version was headed by Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman, but now Mathew Horne and Ed Speelers take the reins in this new touring production of the Rain Man, with direction by Jonathan O'Boyle. The show kicks off its run in Windsor, and will be visiting locations across the UK throughout the winter months.
2. The Height of the Storm
Richmond Theatre, Cambridge Arts Theatre and Theatre Royal Bath before Wyndham's Theatre in the West End
The Height of the Storm is a family drama with every great thing going for it – penned by the award-winning Florian Zeller, translated by Christopher Hampton and directed by Jonathan Kent with a cast led by Jonathan Pryce and Eileen Atkins. Is there anything more you'd want from a touring production? The show runs in Richmond, Cambridge and Bath before settling in the West End later this year.
1. Six
Arts Theatre, 30 August to 25 September
Who would have thought a musical about the six wives of Henry VIII would have taken the Edinburgh Fringe by storm and now heads down to London to repeat the process? It may sound like an unlikely candidate for a summer smash hit but, judging from its tunes, Six is one to catch at the Arts.
Last chance to see: Pressure (Ambassadors Theatre), Emilia (Shakespeare's Globe), Fun Home (Young Vic), Around the World in 80 Days (Union Theatre), Homos, or Everyone in America (Finborough Theatre), Bring It On (Southwark Playhouse), Silk Road (Trafalgar Studios)
PLUS this week marks Andrew Polec's final week in the West End Bat Out of Hell – catch him while you can!
