Weymouth based Patchwork Theatre are touring Put a Sock in It to Devon and Dorset this Autumn. Billed as ‘an exciting opportunity to see fresh, new theatre, created in the South Put a Sock in It has been a hit with audiences at Edinburgh Festival Fringe and is providing a great evening out to audiences across the South of England.
Fresh from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Patchwork Theatre’s Put a Sock in It blends ‘The Vicar of Dibley‘ with ‘Yes, Minister‘ in a light-hearted comedy about a Parish Council who try to save the world. This original show features a plant pot named Boris and has been described as ‘near brilliance’ by The Scotsman.
Patchwork is a Weymouth based group who graduated last year from the Southern Theatre Arts Centre and this is their first original touring show.
Put a Sock In It plays The Mowlem Theatre, Swanage on Friday 21 October at 8pm. Tickets: £8 Adult; £7 concessions.
