Theatre 503 new season opens with award-winning writer Anna Jordan's Freak, which transfers direct from the Edinburgh Fringe from 2 September to 27 September.

Simultaneously, in the 9pm slot from 3 September to 20 September, three short plays by Samantha Ellis will run under the banner Starlore for Beginners and Other Plays, directed by Jim Russell.

Next up, from 30 September to 25 October, Blind Eye, the debut play by Susannah Finzi, will premiere directed by Benet Catty. The play is billed as a "compelling story of international law and personal morality, and how past bad acts infect present day relationships".

Stuart Slade‘s first play Cans, developed through the Theatre503 Futures programme, will run from 4 to 29 November, directed by Dan Pick.

From 28 October to 1 November, a three day festival, Red Like Embers: Contemporary Voices From Brazil will celebrate all things Brazilian.

And rounding off the season is an alternative pantomime, Cinderella and the Beanstalk, which runs from 2 December to 10 January directed by Tom Attenborough.

Elsewhere, Theatre503's production of Land of Our Fathers transfers to Trafalgar Studios from 3 September to 4 October.
