The West End's The Woman in Black has announced that a new cast will be beginning from 22 May 2018.

Richard Hope is to star as Arthur Kipps, while Mark Hawkins will play The Actor. The Woman in Black is the stage adaptation of Susan Hill's novel and tells of a lawyer obsessed with a curse that has been cast over his family by a ghost.

Hope's theatre credits include Queen Anne, The Park and The History Boys. Hawkins has starred in The Railway Children, Muted and on The Woman in Black tour.

The piece enters its 30th year in the West End in June, after it opened in 1989. It is adapted by Stephen Mallatratt and has direction from Robin Herford.
