The Woman in Black marks 27 years with new tour
The Woman in Black will head out on a UK tour to mark its 27th anniversary in the West End.
The stage adaptation of Susan Hill's bestseller is currently running at the Fortune Theatre in London and the show will also embark on a UK tour from September.
The touring cast will perform their roles at the Fortune Theatre from 8-22 August before heading out on tour, beginning at the Lichfield Garrick.
David Acton will play Mr Kipps and The Actor will be played by Matthew Spencer.
Since opening in the West End in 1989 the show has entertained over seven million people. It tells of a young solicitor who is obsessed with a curse he thinks has been put over him by a ghost.
The Woman in Black was released as a film starring Daniel Radcliffe in 2012.
The producer Peter Wilson commented: "Everyone at PWP is proud to continue presenting this perfect piece of theatre."
The tour opens at the Lichfield Garrick Theatre on 13 September and then heads to Richmond Theatre, Cambridge Arts Theatre, Windsor Theatre Royal, Northampton Royal & Derngate, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Marlowe Theatre, Liverpool Playhouse, Exeter Northcott Theatre and continues into 2017 finishing in Cardiff in June.
