Scrooge the Musical announces complete company joining Marti Pellow

The full cast has been announced for Scrooge the Musical, which runs at Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo.

The production stars Marti Pellow as Ebenezer Scrooge, Karen Dunbar as the Ghost of Christmas Past and Gavin Mitchell as Jacob Marley, with Thom Southerland directing.

The newly announced cast includes George Acworth as Harry, Wendy Mae Brown as Mrs Fezziwig, Martin Callaghan as the Ghost of Christmas Present, Valerie Cutko as the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, Kristofer Harding as Mr Fezziwig, Kelly Mathieson as Isabel, Ruairidh McDonald as Bob Cratchit, SuRie as Mrs Cratchit, Samuel Thomas as Young Ebby, Shona White as Thomasina Jenkins and Gabriella Williams as Miss Dilber.

White will play Thomasina Jenkins in a gender-swapped version of the traditionally male role of Tom Jenkins.

The adult ensemble comprises Caitlin Anderson, Benedict Landsbert-Noon, TJ Lloyd, Janet Mooney, Natalie Moore-Williams, Tom Norman, Clare Rickard, Duncan Shelton, Masimba Ushe and Kacey Wadge. Lloyd will also serve as resident director, while Rickard is dance captain.

The children’s ensemble includes Frankie Farmer as Kathy Cratchit, Liv Kelly and Isla Tawse as Martha Cratchit, and Noah McNamee and Shlok Sardar as Peter Cratchit, alongside Connie Anderson, Cianna Bentall, Cara Blease, Ava Rosa Castro Paterson, Harrison Cattell, Lily Chisholm, Sophia Duffie, Teddy Frew Leyden, Niamh Lee, Theo Miranda, Kai Morris, Ella Wallace, Hadley Walton and Callan Wilson.

The young company also includes Louis Davies and Percy Tulley, who share the role of Tiny Tim Cratchit, Lily Hanna, who shares the role of Kathy Cratchit, and Sebastian Cervenec and Tobias Cervenec, who share the role of Boy.

The creative team comprises choreographer Chrissie Cartwright, musical supervisor Simon Lee, arranger and co-orchestrator Grant Mitchell, co-orchestrator Paul Campbell, musical director Malcolm Forbes-Peckham, set designer Tom Rogers, lighting designer Robbie Butler, sound designer Dan Sampson, illusion designer Dr Will Houstoun, costume designer Jonathan Lipman, and wigs, hair and make-up designer Suzy Barrett.

The production team includes producers and general managers Danielle Tarento and Austin Shaw, with Tarento also serving as casting director. Josh Whatsize is assistant director, Katy Stephens is children’s director, Toots Butcher is assistant set designer, Federica Romano is associate costume designer, Eve Hawes is props supervisor, Nina Van Houten is wigs, hair and make-up supervisor and Matthew Chandler-Garcia is children’s administrator.

Production managers are Oliver Ellerton and Freddy Marlow. Paul C. Deavin is company stage manager, with Tom McLean-Smith as stage manager, Lydia Holford as deputy stage manager, Georgia Evans as assistant stage manager and Arianna Long as technical assistant stage manager.

The LX team comprises George Pearce and Jade Hicks-Williams, while Nathan Etherington is Sound 1. Ruth Keeling is head of wardrobe, with Emily Whatmore as deputy head of wardrobe, Lucy Pandza as wardrobe assistant and Marti Pellow’s dresser, and Rosie Sykes as wardrobe assistant.

Isobel Donald is head of wigs, hair and make-up , with Helen McEwan as deputy head of wigs, hair and make-up and Vikki Moir as wigs, hair and make-up assistant.

Written by Leslie Bricusse, Scrooge the Musical is based on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Bricusse adapted and expanded his score for the 1970 film for the stage, with songs including “Father Christmas”, “December the Twenty-Fifth”, “Thank You Very Much” and “I Like Life”.

Scrooge the Musical runs at the SEC Armadillo in Glasgow from 12 December 2026 to 10 January 2027.
