We caught up with Samantha and asked her: "If you were stranded on a desert island which five showtunes could you not live without?"

5. "Maybe This Time" from Cabaret

This was the first song I attempted to sing. I love the desperation in the character in this song.

4. "The Dance at the Gym" from West Side Story

This is some of the best music ever written, Bernstein at his best. It's also great music to cook to.

3. "Frug" from Sweet Charity

Just a fabulous piece of music.

2. "Before the Parade Passes By" from Hello Dolly

I love this because of my love of all things Barbra Streisand

1. "In a Very Unusual Way" from Nine

This song makes me cry, it gets you right where it hurts.
