Meera Syal stars in NT's Behind the Beautiful Forevers

Behind the Beautiful Forevers stars Meera Syal and tells the story of the intertwined lives of people living in Mumbai slums. Alongside Syal includes Vincent Ebrahim, Thusitha Jayasundera, Muzz Khan, Chook Sibtain and Shane Zaza, among others.

The new play, written by David Hare, is adapted from Katherine Boo's novel and is directed by the soon-to-be NT artistic director Rufus Norris. The play has design by Katrina Lindsay, with lighting by Paule Constable and sound by Paul Arditti.

Behind the Beautiful Forevers is currently playing at the NT Olivier.
