Comedian Marcus Brigstocke ended up in A&E after recreating his time as a podium dancer for nightclub Ministry of Sound at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Only two days into his run at the Fringe, Brigstocke spent Saturday morning being treated a suspected snapped Achilles’ tendon and will have to perform the rest of his shows while on crutches.
“I will never stop dancing,” Brigstocke said. “Even if I have to confine my raving to arms, head and torso only – if that is what the people want from me then leg or no leg I will give them what they want.”
