The upcoming tour of the much-loved musical Mamma Mia! has added even more stops.

Mamma Mia! celebrated its 25th anniversary last year, making it one of the longest-running musicals in West End history. Since its premiere in 1999, the show has become a global sensation, with over 70 million people having seen it worldwide. The musical has grossed over £4.5 billion at the box office and inspired two successful films.

Produced by Judy Craymer, Richard East, and Björn Ulvaeus for Littlestar in association with Universal, the show features ABBA’s timeless hits, written by Benny Andersson and Ulvaeus, and the story by Catherine Johnson. The show is directed by Phyllida Lloyd, with choreography by Anthony Van Laast, design by Mark Thompson, lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken, and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch.

The musical has broken box office records in each of its London venues and recently returned to Broadway.

Kicking off the tour at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton (24 October to 8 November 2025), it’ll then visit Bristol Hippodrome (11 to 22 November), New Theatre Oxford (25 November to 6 December), Edinburgh Playhouse (9 December 2025 to 4 January 2026), Swansea Building Society Arena (13 to 24 January), His Majesty’s Theatre, Aberdeen (27 January to 7 February), Newcastle Theatre Royal (11 to 28 February), Palace Theatre Manchester (3 to 21 March), and Curve, Leicester (24 to 29 March).

Further into 2026, Mamma Mia! will play at Hull New Theatre (7 to 18 April), Venue Cymru, Llandudno (21 to 25 April), Blackpool Opera House (28 April to 3 May), Birmingham Hippodrome (12 to 30 May), Hall for Cornwall, Truro (2 to 13 June), Leeds Grand Theatre (16 to 27 June), Norwich Theatre Royal (30 June to 11 July), Eastbourne Congress Theatre (14 to 19 July), Bournemouth Pavillion Theatre (28 July to 2 August) and King’s Theatre Glasgow (13 to 29 August).

Casting for the first legs of the tour was recently revealed.

The new tour dates revealed today are SSE Arena Belfast (9 to 12 September 2026), Sheffield Lyceum Theatre (15 to 26 September), Nottingham Royal Concert Hall (29 September to 10 October), Milton Keynes Theatre (13 to 24 October), Wolverhampton Grand Theatre (27 October to 7 November), Alhambra Theatre, Bradford (10 to 21 November), Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff (30 November to 5 December), Liverpool Empire (8 December 2026 to 3 January 2027), and Plymouth Theatre Royal (12 to 30 January 2027).

Casting for the newly announced tour dates is to be confirmed.
